What happened to me? Am i happy? Am i unhappy? Am i neutral? I have no feelings at all, no? I really don't understand myself, i need someone to talk to, i need, but, i know i'll not be able to find that "someone"... All gone.

2009 was the past, 2010 is the present and future. My stay in MTI has come to an end, and it really left a deep and memorable impression in my heart and mind... A fruitful short-term journey that i will never forget in my life! Hope will step into the building again in the future... ...

I choose to end the journey of this blog with "My life in Nanyang Polytechnic" though my life journey goes on... ... This is because I hope to dedicate this blog to purely my life journey in NYP and nothing else.

However, since the blog's url is named "my-long-journey", I may one day decide to update my recent doings in this blog again, though I don't know when that will be... ... Till then, see you!

Ok, looks like i have lead the trend of blogging! Omg, i felt that i'm so useful! Lol. And, looks like you girls have read my blog and was touched! That's good. And, there's one thing that i must mention, if you guys realised, i have actually deleted "my precious photo" in the previous post, cos after what i read in ger's email, i was wondering what if people really chance upon my blog?! So i deleted it, since my main purpose is to let my dear friends (you all) see only, not some strangers. Don't blame me k...haha. And ger, if you wanna go back some day tell me k, i have one person haven't talked to (your LO)! Lol. Oh, and xl, though your post was short, but was touching too..esp the pic...nice one. There goes my NYP Graduation Ceremony 2009...had a lot to say, but was way too tired to update yesterday, so i shall update now.

3 years, neither a long nor short period. To me, these 3 years had been spent meaningfully, so much so that i thought it was 30 years! I had really enjoyed myself...especially since year 2, where we were in the Hospitality group. Oh, mentioning about this, i felt great that during yesterday's ceremony, we were so called the "spotlight" cos the speakers kept on mentioning about the hospi students and on top of that, we were the first group to receive our diplomas! Even the papers mentioned about us manz! I'm so glad that i belong to this big family. I feel honoured that i belong to the pioneer batch of hospitality students, and this will be a fact that cannot be changed even 50 years later. Hope that a few years later when i go back to NYP and mentioned that i'm from the pioneer batch of hospitality students, our dear lecturers will still remember us.

Well, why do i say that i had a memorable life in NYP hospi? There are reasons... ... This brings me back to my year 2 of poly life... ...
When i first realised that Hospitality had became a diploma on its own, i was devastated. I went around to ask for help, cos i wanted to go back to Business Management. The first person i went to look for was him, followed by Ms Gan. However, i was told that if i were to revert back to BM, i will be a floating student without a class, i don't want that, so i remained in hospi. 1 week, 1 month...as time passes, i realised that i was so happy mingling with my dear hospi girls and our lecturers. I suddenly felt that life was full of surprises everyday. All thanks to my idol manz! Haha. Below are the list of things that i felt was abnormal, that normal poly students wouldn't do in their poly life:
-We were students during school hours, but after school we became detectives, just to find out if he drives... i can still remember that there was once me and ger were outside staff room while the other 3 went to the carpark! Haha, we were soooo active and silly! But, i love it! Fun! (Ger, all thanks to you for asking him if he drives, if not we will still be part-time detectives until now! Lol)
-Because of projects, we had to visit lots of special places, such as national museum, opera gallery, hotels...and more!
-As hospi students, we experienced a lot of things that others may not have the chance to, such that we were allowed to drink a lot of different kinds of wine in school openly, went for numerous hotel visits where we were allowed to visit the back end as well, went to play golf (omg, this is truly a great experience, cos i wouldn't have the money and chance to play golf on my own manz...i don't think they'll even allow me to enter!), went on cruise and had supper with Alex Choo at 12 midnight and...last but not least, had the chance to have fine dining (ahem, i know i made a fool of myself for making a lot of noise by cutting the duck, but what i felt even more malu was that he said this to me: that's why i didn't choose duck!) Ger, you are correct, 我真的没有脸再丢了!

Other than the above, i also did a lot of foolish and silly actions that even me also feel like laughing when i'm typing now...
-Do you all know what is "skin peel"? Haha...
-Ever tried running into the exam hall and then sit at the wrong seat without realising when people around you has already started laughing?
-Stepping into a specialist diploma class and then ran out after 5 minutes when the lecturer was not looking at us? (Ting, u sure malu with me back then...haha)
-Saw a "giant lizard" in the toilet and then came running out and shouting loudly such that almost all the people in the toilet knows? (end up almost everyone in the lecture group knew because of "word-of-mouth"!)
-Worse is that i everytime went to C406 and asked a lot of stupid questions...ok, some are valid questions, but i really asked a lot, almost everyday went there! The 3 lecturers inside sure had "suffered" alot because of me, but i know that i am such a distinctive student that i hope they will remember me at least for the next 5 years! Hahaha.
Hiaz... i sure is malu.

Year 3 of poly life isn't that meaningfully spent, cos we had lots of projects and FYP. But, we get to know 2 great lecturers, Mr Kumar and Charlie Ng! They were great people to chit-chat with. Miss chit-chatting with them cos didn't get to chat with them during graduation ceremony.

Looking back, i realised that the hospi girls has shared the same memories as me, we had fun together, have breakfast/lunch/dinner and even supper together, did silly things together, gossip together, did most of the projects together, frequently went to J8 to have dessert after friday's last lesson, bug lecturers and malu ourselves together, reaching school early to prepare for presentations together, and last but not least, graduated together! I really treasure this invaluable friendship, it's priceless!

I feel so sad now, that everything's over, that it's the end of the long journey. How i wish everything will not end , but i know it's impossible.

Though i know that most of the people whom i'm going to mention will not see this blog, but still, i must thanks them...(not in order of preference!:) )
-Mr Pang
-Mr Choo
-Mr Wee
-Ms Tay
-Mr Kumar
-Ms Gan
-Mr Ng
-Ms Law
-Mr Yeou

And... ...
The hospi girls! (in order of birth dates)

Ok guys, 10 more hours to graduation ceremony, the day that i have been looking forward to since 3 years ago. But now, somehow i wish that tomorrow will forever never come, so that i still belong to NYP. I feel both excited and sad, excited cos i can get to meet up all my "all-time favourite" lecturers and my idol and get to step into NYP as a student, sad cos it's gonna be my last time in NYP as a student. Ok, shall update more after the ceremony...
